Being an Electrician, the LEAK DETECTOR was a big laugh in our shop. Was that a VAO.? Looked kinda red in the one pic, wonder what paint they used.?

Yes that is a VAO. My dad bought the tractor new in 1950. When i restored it i matched the paint to the inside of the front wheel.I have had people tell it is wrong and some tell me it is right. Steve

Great pictures. Question for you s,mac. The eagle on the globe decal on the VACO, was that an original location or did you add that to the tractor? It seems that I see that decal on so many CASE tractors that I'm unsure which tractors came with it (if any) or were they all added in restoration.

Yes that is a factory decal. With orchard sheet metal that is the proper place other wise it would go on the side panel. Steve
