Younger Brother To Rod's Uni

Pics of a local farmers Uni. He goes around and opens the fields up for area farmers so the guys with the pull type choppers don't have to run down a couple rows of corn when they start. This Uni has 5.9L CDC engine. 3 row head, when it hits heavy-wet corn it really snorts. Wonder what the engine tag says? 150ish HP?

I don't know much specific info on the Unis but that looks like an older power unit with newer head. I have seen a couple that were entirely gray/light gray. which i think was early 90s maybe I know i seen it in one of my Oliver mags cause new idea was teamed up with White.

I think they are a neat machine, especially when you have all the different attachments. Theres a farm by Clevland, mn that has a real nice Uni collection.

I believe somewhere around later 80s to 1990. I think they started the two tone gray in the later 70s early 80s. My cousins used to have a 708 that they picked corn with.

Guys I stand corrected, this one has a 426 Allis in it. His other one has a 8.3L CDC engine. He said the 8.3 has a lot more power. So you guys have to be close with the last uni's being built in the late 80's early 90's.
