Can you post a picture of your friends freshly painted VAC with the remote valve?
Is it early or a late model VAC?
I have the factory parts to put a double acting remote valve with couplers on an early VAC. It is part of a kit Case offered to upgrade the early VAC's to live hydraulics with a remote cylinder mounted under the torque tube.

Nick, I have the installation book for it on an early tractor. I also have a torque tube for an early tractor without Eagle Hitch that has the return line plate on the side for a double valve to mount.

No Hurry, I would like to see sometime. Do you remember if it was an eagle hitch tractor?
