It's Time to Test Case Tractors

I got this promotional board awhile back. I think I am gonna display it at the Lanesville show.
It is mounted on a 630 gasser with triple range, hand clutch and power steering. It's the most used tractor I have on the farm.
I like to say a 300 is every thing you ever wanted a VAC to be and a 630 is everything you ever wanted a 300 to be. This tractor will fly on the road and the 188 has the torque to pull the tall gearing.
Did any of you guys have these boards at your dealerships and give away Timex watches?

I remember when Timex was the most popular watch made.





Looks like it was made in 1963.

 
Dad got a new 830 in November 1963 and got a timex watch. The 830 was a demonstrator, I remember it at the county fair that summer as the pull back tractor for the old walk on sled. This was in Lawrence Kansas and the dealer was Johanning Imp. I was 13 at the time.

I've had it awhile but, I think it came from a swap meet.

That's a great story! Did the 830 have any special markings or decals? Was it loaned out as a demonstrator ?

I remember the dealer in Pleasant Hill NE gave me the Timex watch. Wish i Still had it-was just a kid!!

Great pictures, yes I do have the watch my Dad gave me from this promotion. Will have to post it sometime. Can't remember the year, but think it was around 1962-1964
