Good bunch of pics. I have never seen one in operation and then to have it in the same field as the combine is great. Looks dang dry there, not much hope for the coming week either.Soon it won't do our crops much good, but tillage would be easier, Rod.

It's so darn dry that it pulls hard! Second gear on the six speed and the front is bouncing as it pulls that hard. Radials and full of fluid give it good traction.

SWEET pics! thanks for sharing I hope to have one some day as well I hate to be dumb but what are you planting with it? thanks again really great set of pics

Actually, just a demo run as people here expressed a wish to see one. We have planted corn in the spring to pick and combine with the older equip. Have a 6 row 30" with liquid fert. tanks.

That's a nice looking outfit!!!!
Thanks for taking the pics and posting.
I am amazed at the nice original equipment that gets posted on this forum.

That's pretty neat Steve. Picture number two could be on a calender or business card! Are you thinking of trading up to a 1030 to pull that rig ? :)

Actually, yes. Son has a 1030 in the shop waiting for this guy to get it put back together. Probably won't see it on the Chisel Planter till next spring. Did you put any of Orlen's stuff back together?? By the time I got a cell # for him the object in question was sold!! Looked at them many times but he couldn't make up his mind. If you want to pass them on give me a call.

Nice to see people appreciate some of the equipment we have! Round here I'm just the guy with a farm yard full of Junk! Plus this junk is what we farm with, not $150,000 combines, but good looking $650 combines that still get the job done. The bonus for us is that we probably have more fun and sleep better!!

I think it is great you have one and using it. My uncle had one he pulled with a 1030 back in the good ole days.

By this time tomorrow I hope to have a complete machine purchased. Might need the parts inventory. I'll know more by next week. I plan to put together a 6RN 3pt planter with some of the parts. I'll post a picture when I get it home.

I sure agree with others here, this would be really good for the calendar. I sure enjoyed these pictures, and glad you have the unit. Is there a story behind you getting it?
