here is what I found that seems to work well, they can be locked in place in one direction but I have used them on internal ones as well bought from the Snap On truck, sorry should have clean the tips before taking the pic other tools are a Duall hyd cylinder wrench and a clutch adjusting tool I made so far it has worked well I painted it so I could find it LOL the last two pics are for you guys to guess what they are

First looks like disks for a sleeve puller, second looks like a combine dash

Tom,

I have both sets , internal and external,don't
use them often but they seem to work when nothing
else will.
