E7 mower questions

I picked up a fairly straight E7 mowed from a coworker today. I was wondering if someone had measurements of the park stand legs/feet and where does the chain go on the lift bail? Appears to run towards the tractor but not sure where?
 
We had ours on a VAC and later a 200b. We hooked the chain to the drawbar support. Never had the legs. Always just set it on blocks. Lee

Lee, I tried to set mine on blocks and it wants to fall over backwards. Thanks for the tip on the chain.
 
Jim, My dad has an e-10 with the legs and it still will flip over backwards.. We just use blocks now when the header is up..
 
We always stored ours with the bar down so it was not a problem. I know it takes up more room but thought it was safer. Lee
 
That is the way I store my T10 case mower (pull type version of the E10) Heck with the header up on it it even wants to flip over backwards when you unhook!
