First off what is the difference between the 311 and 310 case? There seems to be no info on the 311. Now the other question..How do you bleed the hyd on the 311. The bucket and other attachment are acting like there is air in the system. The fluid level is fine but its real slow and jumpy. There is no unusual noise from the pump.Im assuming it might be air, unless someone has another idea. Thanks

The 310 is the utility type tractor, 24" rear wheels, fixed front end used with loaders and backhoes. The 311 is the general purpose, or ag, tractor 28" rear tires. So says the owners manual entitled "300B Series Wheel Tractors, with triple range or dual range shuttle" dated Sept 58. I've a 310B loader backhoe unit on the farm. Hyd issue tells me it's not getting fluid for whatever reason..........

If fluid level is correct, you may have a bad O-ring on the suction tube connected to the pump. That is the only place air can get into the system.

Thanks I will direct some attention that direction .I will see if this darn manual goes into any detail on the pump.

Thanks for the info on the 311. I know its a 311 built in 1957,but I cant find a good detailed repair manual. The one I do have is lacking in detail.
