Need Help W/ a IH Balanced Head 3PT Mower

I bought a IH 3PT Mower, but no tag, so don"t know the model. Somewhere a cylinder mounts, but because of distances, I can"t figure out where. There also may be pieces missing. Can anyone post any pics?
Thanks.

John is this a newer 3pt mower or is it an older model, the one that I used a few years ago on the ranch I lived on at the time didn't use a cylinder to raise the bar but had a goofy cable system that attached to the drawbar and when you raised the mower with the three point cable would kick the end of the bar up. I tried to get the guy I was working for to let me covert it to a hydraulic unit as I thought the cable system was a pain in the a$$ but he wouldn't let me do it.

John,
Attached is a picture of my IH 120 balanced head mower. This is the semi-mount version but I believe they also made them in fast-hitch, 3-pt, and trailer. This is not exactly what you have but might give you an idea of how the lift cylinder mounts. Al

Tony,
My dad bought it maybe 40 years ago. We mounted it on our H and it has never been removed. I use it to re-cut about 15 acres of oats stubble every year. Makes it easier to work up the field to plant wheat in fall. Works good. Al

John, I ask the same question just a few days ago. JD Seller posted a pic of the 3pt 1300 IH mower. The cable is supposed to hook up to the drawbar. Another poster? described how he had added hydraulics to his. I want to add a cylinder to operate the gag yoke. Have not gotten started on it yet. Look in archives under IH 1300. let us know what you find out and do. gobble

I have a trail type and a mounted version. Both have hyd lifts. I could email or text a picture much easier than trying to post on here. I wish it were easier. Give me a number or address and i will go out later and get a shot for you

John,Sounds like a #100. No cylinder used though. Can you post a picture of just what you have?? I should have an Owners Manual here,I"ll try to work with you to figure out just what you have there.
