Worked on the swather today and I think she's bout ready to cut oats. Had to replace the cast rings in the end of the reel that run on the 3 little idlers that offsets the 2 reel ends to work the teeth. I think the previous owner had some fail and ran it so long the castings were worn out. I got some from my local salvage yard today and got them in. I was surprised that everything came apart real easy, didn't even need to heat anything. If you need used or after market parts in central Mn. Gotvald Imp. Se. from Pierz Mn. is a good place. I also got a pickup attachment for the combine. I'll have to get that on and a patch in the bottom of the combine head where it's rusted and worn through. Looked at the oats today looks even better than last year, it's shoulder high and thick, but it went down a little in the wind today. Should be ready to cut in 3-4 weeks. Hope I get everything ready by then lol. Sorry no picks today.
