Fence row find 3-14 Case trip plow pics

Well I ended up buying the old plow, saved her from the scrapper! It's really not in too bad of shape for sitting in the brush for the last 40 years. Bottoms are in good shape. It needs a few new plow bolts (some old ones were carriage bolts) and at least a new trailing tire. I might find some used tires for the front. I'll get it working and up to snuff here this week. Haven't decided if it will receive a coat of paint or not. But it will be up for sale once its working again. Anyone know what model it is? Thanks!

You've got a model B plow circa early 50s. My 1953 owner's manual for the B and BH series says it came in a 2,3,4 or 5 bottom configuration. B is the trip and H is the hydraulic. Like any Case plow mutliple bottoms and sizes were available

I have a two bottom that is identical to that one, it has the same three pneumatic tires all the way around. Mine is also a 14".

Curiosity got the best of me and I decided to go have a look. Mine is pretty much the same, except for the draw-bar. Mine looks just the same, and so does the tripper, but mine has about a 3 foot handle on it that doesn't appear to do anything. The best that I can assume is that it was meant for when backing up to the plow you could just reach back and lift the tong of the implement off the ground so that you could just back the clevis on the tractor right under it and be hooked up without having to get off of the tractor, any one have a better idea?
