does any body need any of this wet stuff. 4. inches in the last 48 hrs . last year reacord heat and dry.. how is it in other areas. tom.

We've had a wet Spring here in Northeast Arkansas and VERY unseasonably cool weather. It was 58 degrees here yestarday morning and highs only in the 80s all weeks. I love the cool weather. We're about to get to the point of needing a little shower but nothing close to a drought.
Remember, it's not "global warming" anymore. Now it's called "climate change" by all of those who subcribe to the idea that we're somehow destroying the Earth and its atmosphere.

Send it this way. We had nearly 7 inches of rain in May. Less then an inch in June, and now we are having temps in the mid 90s. Still green around here, but it won't take many days in the 90s to turn it all brown!!

We could use some here as well. Third year in a row of dry conditions. Everybody else around the state gets inches and we get 1/10ths. Sure is frustrating. Don

Way too much rain here, Our small hillside streams turned into raging creeks and caused massive distruction throughout the area. DEC came in and started issuing fines to local townships for hiring contractors with trackhoes to clear the debries out of the creeks and streams. What a bunch of BS. Fortunately the Govenor thought so also. and told them what he thought. I'm sure this will lead to an expensive court siut as things progress, between the state and the fed's. I certainly hope a Brown Trout wasn't harmed, by a trackhoe operator without a fishing licence.
Loren.
PS, Nick did my shipement get to you?

(quoted from post at 20:47:08 07/06/13) We will take all that you dont want, it is so dry in NW KS , the dryland crops cant last much longer.
You got that right, we've only had 0.40" the last 2 months, now the ground is cracking like it did last year.

Same here. I live between Hays, and Great Bend. Seems like both of those places are getting rain, but nothing here in the middle. Wheat crop was very poor because of the lack of moisture.

We will take any that can be sent to west Texas, I know of about 5 or 6 lakes within a 100 miles or so that are over 50 feet below full. A lake up in the panhandle is shown as nearly 97 feet below full.
