Iron for the soil

It's that time of year, though this might be the first year these don't go on the tractors and into the field for us. First year with 2-row GPS shutoff.

I didn't think anybody used them anymore. Had a rear mount on my 1030 and used to get up at midnite and cultivate till milking time because it was cooler at that time of nite.

Yes, they are Deere cultivators. The one on the 730 has been converted to 4/30's, dad had considered trying to make it a 6/30, but haven't had time as I think it will require extending the mounting bars for the gangs, and possibly changing the bracing. The shields do not work in 30 inch rows either.

The CASE cultivator was similar, but with 4 inch square main beam and no pivoting gauge wheels. And each side would swing forward seperatly to remove. Was a bracket available to mount yours on a CASE or did you modify the existing brackets.
