970 case problems

I was driving along stoped pushed the clutch in and that was it no power steering no pto and it wont move. please help. Jesse

Sounds like the pump is not turning, is this a older sunset color tractor? If it is you might have lost drive from the torque limiter. Rod.

Yes it is a 1970 is this the pump right above the pto

Start the tractor, without pushing in the clutch shift the 4 speed gears in gear. If there is no gear grinding what so ever in any gear nothing is trying to turn inside the trans. Chances are the hub is broke loose on the torque limiter. Tractor will need to be split behind the engine to correct the problem. Rod.

I'll agree w/Rod the early ones drove from the limiter the later ones from the flywheel,i guess you could pull the pump off and see if the shaft turns,(if the limiter was broke could still turn w/no load)
