my 1070 has only heat, blower. Can a air conditioner complete system be bought to put on it, or is it even possible to do? If so what place might I search for the complete air conditioner system?
thanks

possible;yes,we sent a man to the moon.cost effective,no,lets see.compressor mount, compressor, hoses, drier, condensor, exp.valve, evaparator, controls, with nothing to start with a lot of time.if you had a doner, maybe if you have to piece it from a salvage yard it is worth to much to them.(like johnny one piece at a time)

Yes, There is a air conditioner kit company called AP air. I installed one on my 2294 and it was the best thing I ever done and priced real reasonable. The best part about the kit is it switches the air conditioner pump to a magnum style pump. It did not come with the lines going up the cab posts but I did not need them.

I recently brought home a late 1070 with air. It will be used to run my baler. The air will be coming off, completely. I believe it's all there, but I havent't explored it totally. I do know the condenser and compressor will be coming off after I finish my first cutting (it rained in central MN a bit this spring). If possibly interested in parts/pieces or the whole works get in touch, email is open

When I bought my 970 25+ years ago it had no air. I called dozens of salvage yards looking to do what you want to do. They all told me that they had some parts but not enough to complete the system. One day while in Watertown SD I stopped at the Worthington Tractor Parts store and they told me the same thing. It was a slow day so I asked if we could go back and look. We found at least 3 complete systems and they put together a complete system for me. If I remember right it cost me about $600 at that time. I mounted the parts and lines myself With a new compressor, dryer, and all new seals I had it working for just under $1000. If I was to do it today I would look for the lines only used and get new evaporator, condenser, dryer, and the best compressor I could find. Todays 134 runs higher pressures that the OEM parts will not withstand. These parts have all been replaced on mine over the years. The new parts are all finer, and require blowing the dust out daily under dusty conditions. In todays economy you will likely spend $2500 to get it done. Hope this information helps with your decision. DK
