I have a david brown 990 loader and am unable to find a replacement starter for it. I live near Binghamton new York and am hoping that someone can give me any information on how to find one. the one I have now I don't think can be rebuilt

Did you check ebay? I think I bought a starter for my 990 off ebay. Should be some starters listed. Check it out.

There are new Indian made ones available for just over $100, way better than the original Lucas garbage. The last one I bought was from eBay.
