2090 quit moving

A little back ground, my old man bought this tractor brand new
always been our big tractor biggest job it's done is pull 4
bottom case plows and one row chopper has about 5000
hours on it, today while tedding out some hay just quit moving
oil is full. I won't get to look at it till this weekend for my dad
what is the best way to diagnose problem, how do I check
torque limiter, thanks for the help Mr hillbilly

My father did not mention any lights on but I will have him check the 3 point tomorrow he did say the pto stayed working.

The tractor will quit moving if you lost your hydraulics. If the the steering is gone also the problem would more than likely be in the pump drive system. If its the limiter your hydraulics will still work and you will be able to shift the 4 speed in gear without depressing the clutch pedal with the engine running and there will be no gear grinding. Rod.

Also on 2090's there's a ball brg on the front of the 4 speed trans input shaft that goes out which allows the shaft to drop down causing the drive gears not to mesh. That to will cause the tractors to stop moving. Rod.

Thanks for the info guys I'm going to check out the tractor this weekend was wondering if I pull drain plug can I use my video scope and see the center of torque limiter or not

if the motor doesn't change sound when the clutch is depressed get the splitting stands out
