The branch house was in the center of Syracuse at that time. Harisson St. ??. It was later relocated out by I 90, west of Carrier Circle. I remember riding with Dad and sometimes Mom to the old branch in downtown when I was little. It was a 75 mile trip one way, and took all day as we also picked up parts and equipment from JS Woodhouse, and Charles Rheiner Co. who were also located in Syracuse. Dad would make the trip about every two weeks, except in the winter. I was always asinated by the 2 VA tugs they had there. One had a gip pole on the front of it with a winch to lift and carry machine goods, and the other had a push pull bar to move tractors with and pull the little wearhouse dollies.

Loren: Downtown was Jefferson St., then in the early 60's the new branch was on Ridings Road in East Syracuse. I don't remember it, buit Dad said they kept a 12/20 Cross Engine at the Jefferson St. Branch until they closed it, then it was sold to a dealer. Dad made the trip once a week. I was able to ride along when out of school.

John,
Thanks for the clarification on Jeferson St. That was a long time ago. As time went on, I used to make the drive to the new warehouse, and then on west to Tudor and Jones in Weedsport for Amco and Glenco equipmennt, plus JS Woodhouse, and then on the return trip stop by Howard Crain and Ublers for M&W, Ubler feed carts, etc., in Oneida for barn equipment and Muir-Hill Tractors.

Loren: How long did you sell M-H tractors? My Uncles sold them in the 70's. How did CASE react to you selling the M-H tractors? Wasn't Northest Dist. the distributor?
