My new Case running gear.

Went and pick this beautiful VWTA66 gear up this week.... Had to take it apart to load it and the Minnesota Super7 I bought into the back of the pickup for the trip home... Believe it or not... The Case seemed heavier than the 7 ton Minnesota to lift into the pickup even though it's only rated for half of that! I can't wait to get it painted up and get a rack on her!!

Very nice find! I've got several VWTA's running around the farm but no 66's. One does grain wagon duty, one is half way through a new hay wagon and the other is getting rebuilt.

Where do you find the model number at? We have one that has a cable operated hoist made out of a model T frame with a Buerkens flare box made in Pella Ia.

The only way to determine the model is to compare the construction. Every model was built different.

Frank. There are no model numbers on them. Sight and style Identification only... The wonderful Case gurus on here were able to help me figure out the differences... Take a pic and post it or if you send my your email, I can forward you some pics of the sales brochures that I have...

Very nice. I have one like that and one smaller. The smaller one is also narrower wheel spacing.

I have 2 vwta gears that have been working with the wheels reversed or dished out. One has a barge box that holds 110 bu of shelled corn and the other had a 16" flat bed. and they have worked well and no failures.
