What Case 504's were aftercooled?

I am looking for an aftercooled Manifold for a case tractor motor 504. I don"t care if it leaks, I,m going to block off the aftercooler anyway. I"d like to have some pics, thanks. You can email.

Technically, the 504's in the Models listed were "intercooled". Those intercoolers are no longer available from CASE. When the intercooler went bad on our 4690, I installed an aftercooler, but it caused the exhaust Temp. to run hotter. The aftercooler I used came off a "Mid-size" Mack truck. Space was limited up there in front of the radiator, but maybe the results would have been better with a larger aftercooler.

Here a pic of both sides of one style. There are atleast 2 styles of them. Thad

The very first ones on the 2670's looked like a plain intake manifold split in half with the core inserted in it.

I could never figure out why CASE even used them. The engines were capable of that HP without them installed. My thoughts were the main purpose was to help lower ex. temp. Just a guess, Rod.
