had this small area to reseed so I used the "VA" and spreader then went over it with the 770 and drills to pack it down, it was a mix of wheat, crested wheat grass, millet, and alfalfa seed

Well like we were talking about today, nice to see you got the jobs for her.Need to figure that out myself.
Looks good Tom

Looking good, now if you can get a nice rain shower to get everything started. Will that mix be harvested as hay later?

if it grows enough it will be cut, it is a neighbor's field in a low spot that drowned out years back I am not sure how long this will last if it does take time will tell

Tom ,
I see a alt. on it .. does that mean it's a 12v system . ??? when you have the hopper full .. is the front end lite ??
Nice set up .. Thanks for sharing ...

Looks like it would work well for small patches. How far does it spread the seed? Does it seem like it takes a long time to get something done after running your drills?

Mark, yes she is 12 volt I did that conversion to it 23 years ago, she stays on the ground fine with this size spreader although you can feel the differance when its full

Ronald, it covers 30 feet for this type of seed so it covers more than my drills but the wind does not affect them like it does this, amd then I still like to harrow the seed in so it really did not save except for this small amount of seed it was not worth using the drills and I wanted this to come up quick so I just used the drills to press/pack should work well for this application
