Planted some oats today.

Got the 2394 out and worked up some oats ground.

The 400 and 14' disc with 3 section harrow for finnish work.

Planted with an Oliver Super 77 and old IH drill

Then finnished with the 970 and harrow.

Jon: That disc & harrow together looks like quite a load for the 400. How'd she do w/ both?

Just barely could handle it. The disc alone is ok. That field is real sandy so it was tough.

Last photo -Did you use the harrow to cover oats that the grain drill didn't cover?

Yes, more for the alfalfa tho.
