I have a question for you guys, when I'm using my 1570 pto for mowing and I stop the mower should I just pull the pto lever out and let the pto brake stop the mower, or feather the lever to let the mower stop by itself. Can it hurt anything feathering the lever? I was wondering how hard this is on the pto brake stopping a mower that is very heavy i use an 8ft rhino and a 14 ft flail mower on the 1570 and 1370. I have done both feather the lever and just use the brake just curious as to which is better. Also when running the pto and you depress the inching pedal to shift does the surge hurt anything? I always throttle back when running the mower and depressing the inching pedal, the tractor is running 540 mowers so it is only running about 1200-1300 rpm anyway.
Thanks
Ben
