My son was helping me get ready for planting and he got a couple of shots of the 400 pulling the 14' disc.

She handles it very well. I was going in 5th gear there. It was pretty hard so it wasn't going all the way in tho.
 
tractor looks like shes doing a good job. is that the correct size disk ?just wondering i would like to buy a disk someday for my arena thanks john
 
This tractor runs really good and has a new engine
so it handles it well, but I think a 12' would be
more common for that size tractor. We pulled a 14'
behind both an 830 eh and a 730 ck and they did good
with it.
 
That doesn't look like the 10hp per foot rule everyone talks about. But I don't agree with that, I go by whatever the tractor likes to pull, I always argue with people on that rule. It's looking good out there disking nice pictures.
