Case 4490 hyd issue

Worked great last year. Hooked up to my IH 6500 consertill, and i will not lift it. Fluids fine. it has 2 sets remotes. valve set 1, I get 500-600psi on gauge, set 2 I get between 1700-1900psi. Talking with a good mechanic he thinks my pump must be fine and I have an issue in the #1 valve thatr is also not letting #2 work to full pressure. Has any one had this before? He recommended taking the valves off and going through and making sure all the check balls, springs and the works are all good condition and clean. How hard is it to remove the 2 valves? Any other recommedaions??

We had our 4690 have a similar issue this spring we had one remote that wouldn"t lift anything and the others were really slow. It turned out that the detent valves needed adjusted and they work just like new.

Dave,'m not familiar w/the 44 but on the 22 when I have this problem it usualy is a oring on the back side of the remote valve has a large screw driver slot oring is usualy gone or 1/2 gone very small about the size of a pencil.
