I know what your going through
I ride a 1986 Yamaha virago 700 and a Yamaha XT 350. I have only had the dirt bike out once this year and have not even looked at the virago.
It's going to be a long summer if it stays like this.

I have 52,000 miles on my 1995 Harley FLHTC. I bought it new & haven't spent a penny on it other than regular maintance. I rode from Iowa to Alaska & was gone for 2 1/2 months & over 17,000 miles on one trip. I have had it in 46 states so YES I think you could say I ride. Gerald

I forgot to put this in my first reply but I rode out to see your Dads collection probably in the late 90s. Gerald

I have had my motorcycle license since I was 14. Started out with a Honda 50, then went to a Honda 90 which I totaled a 65 Chev Bel-air with. All in all I have had more then 30 bikes and still have a Honda CB360T but do not ride much any more due to a bad back and bad knee. Had a 1967 BMW R60S that my brother sold out from under me and sure would love to have another BMW again if I could ever find one I could afford. Son has a 1979 Yamaha 750 special and it is his 5th bike

2004 FLHT sits in the stall right now.I sold the 96 flhtcui last year after 160000 miles. My motorcycle repair shop feeds my tractor fetish. Hee!

77 Goldwing with 15000 miles on it. Haven't had it out in a while but thought it would still ride good when I got older, but now I'm older and still don't find time!

Here is my wife next to our 1941 FL Harley Davidson summer of 2012 on the Oregon Coast. I have logged 200,000 miles on this bike since I bought it out of a retired junkyard near Minoqua Wisconin in 1984. This bike has been coast to coast twice and in nearly every state of the lower 48 at least once.

Wow that is some miles and what a great looking bike!! I would bet you have been within a couple miles of me if you have ever traveled I-90 thru Wyoming cnt

2007 Roadglide. been as far west as the Devils Tower on her. I haven't ridden in over a year, due to tractors and pulling. LOL

Nutty

We have been thru your way many times - 2012 for sure. I have been to the Sturgis Rally probably 10 times since 1984. The last few times, since I joined the forum, I have alway kept my eye out for Flambeau Red stuff in Wyoming.

Ususally we stay away from 4 lane whenever possible.

This year we are planning on taking the Great River Road to New Orleans swing back up thru the Ozarks and then on to the Grand Canyon and if time permits we might stop thru the Rally on the way home. We like the Rally well enough but it is too many people and too much stuff - if we never went again that would be OK -- we have a lot of other stuff too see first.

Here is a 1940 EL Harley Davidson that we also own.

2008 Honda vfr 800, fifth bike. I grew up near Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI, so race bike got my attention. I went to college in Milwaukee, but the harley thing never took over. I had 80" CB350, 93" FZR600 super stock race bike, 95" FZR600 Stock, 03" YZR R6 track bike, and now the VFR. I am moving toward touring ........

I would have a motorcycle if I could find a frame or rolling chassis to put my 1948 Indian Chief motor and trans in. Anybody have anything in the corner of their Case shed ?
