Is your 1030 what they call a Comfort King Western special or something like that being the fenders are different than the regular Comfort Kings? My dads cousin had a 1030 with fenders like that and a cab. We had an 830 diesel high profile.

Its still a "1031", but I think those fenders were a option

Ok, that makes sense. Can you tell me how they used to number the Case tractors? I remember dad mentioning the fuel and I think the front end....like an 831.. Does that sound right?

Alan, I don't think I ever heard anything about the numbering system for the 30 series, maybe others have, and I don't have information on that either.
