thought I would add this here as the other post is three pages back now this pic shows the correct hose placement for the #1 remote

we had a customer with a 1070 that he had for years. said his disk wouldn"t raise. he brought the tractor into the shop, with his cyl. I said plug it in, he hooked both hoses in one side. I changed hose the right way. gave me a funny look unplugged the hoses, didn"t say a thing and left.

Tom, man we had trouble with these hydraulics, leaks were no 1, I remember a kit Case had out that basically gave them 90series hydraulic ends, for some reason I thought we changed over all the "2470"s and "2670"s we had out.

I do not mind this style but if they get full of dirt like these they have to be cleaned before they will work correctly, as to leaks I have no problems with these any more than the other style replacing the quad ring usally fixes that, my other 2670 I sold had the 90 series units on it but I think you are right about the kit, and the newwer style was easier to plug in for sure
