Case 400 and mounted plow

Hi, I have a Case 400 and a 3 bottom fully mounted plow. I was wondering if the special turnbuckle mount that covered the pto was necessary, or if the one above the hydraulics could be used.

yes it will require the pto/cover with correct top link, if you try and use the top one it can bend the top link and break off the top mounting place as it was not made for that kind of weight

The top mounting plate doesn't give the correct geometry to make the plow lift like its supposed to. Lot of us make our own mounting bracket so you can use the eagle hitch and pto at the same time.
