Always nice pics, been admiring that 770. I know you got a ton of hrs on it, I was trying to figure the yr. 71, maybe 72. Case built cab, does the 770 decal on the fuel tank have the box around it? I see in lit the real early ones don't and later sunset ones did. When did they discontinue the 770's? Do you remember when the late sunset 8, 9, and 1070's had that glass pack style muffler with the curved extention? I never seen a 770 then so I don't know if they used it or not. The hole in the hoods were smaller, when that muffler went bad and was no longer available you had to cut a bigger hole in the hood. That sucked, but had no choice if you wanted to use a factory muffler. Rod.

yes Rod it is a 1971 model and the 770 on the tank does have a box and say "Agri King" under 770, I got my cousin a new muffler for his 870 last year from Hy-Cap a round one his is a 1973 have to look at the hood, they dropped 770's in 1972 870's made it in to 1974, as to the curved extension I have one to get on mine and they did have them for the round mufflers cnt
