1973 Case 2470 weight/ price list weights

I need to come up with a pretty accurate weight for my 1973 Case 2470 and I don"t really want to drive it to a scale. The weights for each individual option are listed in the price guides so dealers could calculate the shipping weight. Does anyone have a Case price guide that they could use to provide the weights?

Here are my factory options;

4 wheel steer
23.1-30 wheels
three point hitch
quick coupler
air conditioning
heater
AM/FM stereo
two rear spotlights
two extra front lights.

If you really need a accurate weight on that tractor you need to take it to a scale.

The times I have checked weights on tractors those weights and any correlation to the book bore no resemblance with each other.

For starters the weights on the owners manual and dealer book were usually dry and no aftermarket attachements. Fluids on a 2470 would be substantial. 100 gallons of Diesal is over 700 lbs alone.

Just no good way to get a accurate weight without running your tractor over a scale.

Don't have prices and weights for 2470, but here is weights for a 4490.
Basic tractor w/cab, air, heat, 4 wheel steer.
15855#
23.1x30 8ply R1's 884#
3pt with/ coupler 1250#
extra lighting and radio 40#?
TOTAL 18059#
My lit for a 2670 shows a basic weight of 16370#. So if you subtract the weight of the cast nose peice and the intercooler, and a bit lighter frame you get down to the 4490 wt. In conclusion the 2470 should weigh in at 18574#

My 2470 with just the front 23.1s loaded,weighted in at right at 25000#.Was one of the last ones,so had heavy planetary units and bigger cab.
