90 and 94 series

What are your guys opinions of the 11, 12, and 13 90 or 94 series tractors?

Same as any other David Brown, good, fuel efficient, utility tractors.

I understand that the 16XX were junk. Are there any known issues with the 11, 12, or 13xx?

The ones you mentioned were lean, mean, and tough. Great little tractors. Like a TIMEX WATCH, took a lickin and kept on tickin.

Yeah the 6 cylinder tractors had issues. The 3 and 4 cylinder ones will take an ungodly amount of abuse.

Just look for normal stuff, they are 30 years old, that is lots of opportunity to be treated badly. If they start good when cold, the hydraulics work, and the electrical stuff seems to work(the circuit board on the back of the gauge cluster can get funky, easy to convert to manual gauges though) it is probably good to go.

90 and 94 series
