The only tractors from another brand we use around here are a Farmall 200 and a Super A. My Grandfather traded his Case VC that he bought new in 41. The 200 never lived up to his expectations,(It just didn't quite pull like the VC) but I find it to be a nice handy tractor with the fast hitch and touch controls. In recent years after we got a Case 350 I asked Grandpa if he looked at a Case 300 back when he traded. He said the 300 was a heavier more of a utility style tractor than the rowcrop cultivating tractor he was looking for. We would have discovered much sooner how nice the triple range transmission is if a 312 would have showed up back then. Since the 350, 300 and now my 630 arrived here I don't see the 200 getting a whole lot of hrs on the hay rake or tedder. If for some reason we had to do some cultivating I am sure the 200 would be the first to get pressed into action. The A takes care of that job in the gardens around here. -Joel
According to tractordata.com the Farmall 200: $1970, Case 300: $2500
