My uncle is looking for a 1945 Case SC. Anyone out there know of one for sale? I really think he would settle for any year model if it was decent and the price was right. Thanks.

I'm located in North Central Arkansas. Would like to keep travel down to 500 miles or less, but would consider up to 1,000 miles.

I have a 52 model in good shape for the exception that the motor smokes and oil pressure is low. Ready for overhaul. Located in Scottsboro, Al. I bought it from a guy in N.W.,Ark.

If you look on Craigslist there is an SC for 600 dollars in MO and there was one in IL for 900 dollars. One looked alright but had a stuck engine the other I don't know, the picture was hard to tell.
Hope this helps.

(quoted from post at 16:08:07 02/21/13) I've got a 44 SC with brass brake pedals. What's the reason for the brass pedals? Heard stories but none make sense.

to save on steel for the war I suppose.........

Not that it matters, but I think the brake pedals are bronze. I have one and it is wore plum out. The shaft end and the foot rest end. I think '44 was the only year they used them. Haven't heard a good explanation for them either.
