Well I got the old DC4 running after replacing the rods in it. When I put the water in it I know have a water leak to the out side. Yes I replaced the gasket with a Import one that I got from Rusty Acres. OK here is one of two questions. Do I need to replace the new head gasket or would you put COPPER COAT on it. I have it torqued to 75 lbs. Next ? half of the rocker arm is oiling what happened. Thanks Dale

The DC head should be RE-TORQUED after the engine is brought up to operating Temperature. Back off ONE bolt at a time and re-torqued following the sequence from the inner bolts to the oouter bolts. Almost all older case motors require re-torque of head bolts.

Second thing for the rockers, loosen the hold-down bolts and turn the main tube until "appropriate" oil flow. Too much flow leaves lower oil pressure for everything else. Remember the CC's only required oiling before working the motor. I usually keep a pretty slow steady flow of oil.

did you retorque it, did you clean the sludge in the rocker shaft and align the oil holes? oil holes down in a D series, I only use copper silicone around the pushrod galleys to prevent oil seepage.
