you need to compare the spec #'s to see if the one you are looking at has the same shaft size throttle linkage ect to be sure it would fit, the pto clutch on a Case tractor is a bolt on piece but I would be more concerened if the rear crankshaft is the same and I am not sure what you will use it for but a 10hp is weak compared tot he 14hp unit, can yours be overhauled or is the block junk? the Kolhers when boared do live a long life and are worth repairing in my mind if possible cnt

Thanks for quick response. My engine is using alot of oil and the governor is now giving issues its just time for a rebuild. This tractor is well used and I got it for free from a guy who just wanted to get rid of it. It is in pretty rough shape I was thinking if it was an easy fit I'd do it or else probably just part it out to keep my other ones moving and mowing etc. I totally agree its worth rebuilding too this was just a little different deal here. P.S will a sleeve hitch from a 446 fit a 224?

no the 200 series are a shorter hitch due to the tire heights
