660 combine motor

No, I tried that years ago. Bolt pattern is spread out a bit and engine is longer. With some work you could make it fit.

What HP is that motor? Are there any parts that will interchange to get more HP? Looking to build a 250-300hp VAC puller!

How much longer is it? I'm trimmin' up my dad's vac13 and although I have enough parts to do the motor, maybe this approach would give the little tractor a little more pep in her step when he wants to show off at the steam show on the dyno or pullin'.

I don't know the answer to those questions, but I hope you can make it work, a 200 hp VAC would be sweet!

You can't transmit that kind of power through a VAC tranny, if you could tie it to the track.
There is one guy that posts here on ocasion running a 201 making big HP, but it has a special billet crank, special rods, cam, head, and more, plus a heavier tranny. You might post down on the Pulling Forum, and see what you get for responses there. I doubt you will get much encouragement.

I tried about 100hp and now have a VAC with a grenaded tranny. Very bad idea. It was a parts tractor turned puller with pressed steel rear wheels.

I have buit two big bore pullers, one with stroke and billet crank and rods and they were both 3 main engines, the diesels were of course 5 main but the shafts in the 188-201 gasses that I have done have no saddles for rhe extra two mains and the cranks look like a 5 main crank but the extra mains are not ground in, just a massive area where they would be. I do not know if Case ever made a 5 main gasser, it could easily be done but the two I have done are not as is the one on the table right now.
