This little tractor had not run in over a decade. Got it fired up today and went for a couple mi. drive. Everthing seemed to work fine but at 15 degrees it was a cold ride and I was glad to get back to the shop. Funny thing though, everytime I let go of the steering wheel the tractor would turn and go West. Tom I think its home sick, don't you? Rod.

Glad to see you gotter going. Good thing you had the hood off to at least warm your hands and legs or you would-a-been froze fast and on your way to Wyoming. HeHe. I can just picture you west bound on I90 frozen solid.

The rims and tires were mounted on the tractor when it was brought to me, those are a couple of the items I should not have to do any work to. Rod.
 
Rod, nice little tractor, is it a shuttle shift tranny? I noticed something different than on ours, the long shift handle on the left side, that would make it a really handy tractor.
 
is that a late 400, i have an early 400 and looks nothing like that. round nose and much higher.
 
Eric, The engine lost oil and spun a con rod, then the tractor sat for about 15 yrs waiting to be repaired. It got the works, radiator to clutch and everything in between. Looks like it should be a neat little tractor when finished.
