The wheel centers say early to me. Our late 73 has solid ones. It would be a very interesting tractor to me, but I have a good complete 7/870 8speed rear end here. |

| my centers are solid and interchangeable with my early 1070 with 23x 30 tires and 68 930 with 34 inch wheels ,, guess i am lucky ,, not suere why case chose to make solid wheels and spoked wheels ,, maybe someone can research that,,as for breaking ,, i can only bet that sumetin was loose somewhere that caused the break ,, but thats just my thinkin |

| have my dad's 1970 770 and it came with solid wheels. thought it was a option, we have a 70 series loader on it . solid wheels add a lot of weight. |
