well i know that feeling because i have a thermostat housing bolt on my 800 that will not loosen , and i fear it may break...butit is not leakin ./// for Gad Sakes Man ,,titen that leak up ,,. i understand you fears,, and i got an idea you are afraid of what you dont know ,but it is not as bad as you think ,turn the fuel off at the tank , this wiil hold vacuum,and perhapsyou will not loose prime , what you do is 1st loosen this fittin , then draw it up tite ,,if you have to reseal it ,you can maybe use white plumbers tape, you can use rubber washers from assorted fawcet washers at your local hardware store ,,life is a lot of learnin ,,dont be afraid to ask for help here ...
