what model tractor or equipment had a 6-cyl engine that used a case magneto , came across one but dont know what it would fit , thanks in advance

the 377 gas or LP units in a 500/600/900 930 tractors or power units most if not all of the 930 gasers had a ditributor but I am guessing it would fit

the 500 was only offered in dsl, the 500 power unit was offered in LP or set up to burn natural gas as well as dsl the 600/900 tractors were available in LP as well as dsl the 930 had those options as well as gasoline, the 930 dsl was a 401 cube engine but the dsl had the same 377 cube as the 500/600/900 had in both LP or dsl

I have seen two 500's with gasoline burning engines but I am sure they were transplants or hybrids but sure made people look cnt

I have a 600 LP that has the mag drive attached. Looks like original Flambeau. Someone before me stuck a fairbanks on it and it doesnt work. I need either the correct 6 cyl mag or the distributor adapter and distributor. Decent compression on all but 2 cylinders. I would like to hear it run.

Best to see if the engine has a serial number and run it. Mine ended up being a engine out of a 619 power unit.

Only the early 377's had the mag. unless they used a different adapter for side mount types. Most have dist. on the side of the engine vs timing gear where you filled it with oil. Both tractors in the pictures are 1957's
