I bought this at a sale for scrap price 4 or 5 years ago and fixed it up a little with mostly grease and a little welding. I didn't know much about them just that I needed something to break up the weeds. My 86-year-old neighbor always laughs and jokes with me and my old stuff and my need for using older pieces. I would rather drag around an older piece with my old tractor anyday than use the new fancy made-in-China stuff. I know it's easier for me to say this because I don't make a living with it the way he did or have to feed my family with it.
Any way, his health pretty much confines him to his house these days. When I told him about it, he had me go back to look closer, and when I reported back to him that it had a bird on a post, for a logo, he smiled and said, "Case tandom. I pulled one around for 25 years, about 50 years ago."..slim
