I am having an issue with the 3 point on the tractor. It will raise fine but doesn"t want to go down without weight on it. Sometime i can get it to go down just by standing on it. Other time i have to use the front end loader on the other tractor to push it down. Is this a stuck or sticking check valve that would be causing this?

I would bet the 3 pt. hasn't been used very much and the piston is sticky. Useing a bale mover or semi mount plow etc. for a day or so should help.

My 1030 was the same. Milky oil seemed to be the culprit. Took a weekend of plowing and she's been fine since. It was so bad I bought a 3pt drawbar to jump on to get it down!

Sounds good. I will get some weight back there and try to get some use on it.

I had that happen to one of my 930CK. I almost never use the tractor 3PT.

It ended up being a small amount of rust on the lower part of the 3PT cylinder.

I agree with others it should clear up once you start using it
