Well, OK, it's only a little bit case. But it is my case "stuff getter".

Sweet looking new ride. We just got a new Mack 6-wheel dump at work. The Mack salesman said to make sure not to remove or damage that oval "Certified Clean Idle" decal. I guess there is some kind of fine involved and getting a replacement one is expensive. Good Luck on your new ride. You keep the shiny side up. Jf

They will let us do a lot, but I'm hoping to get my own drop deck for my personal use, they allow that.

Jon, now that I know what you truck looks like will keep an eye out for you. Do you haul much out of Andersens?

Not anymore, they save those loads for the dedicated fleet. I used to all the time when I was on the Target dedicated fleet. I moved to the regular "over the road" fleet now.

It's a Volvo 670 and has an 11 litre 385 hp engine. I'm a little disapointed with that, they told me it would have a 13 litre 465 hp engine. That was Dart's mistake and they said I can trade out anytime I want, so I think I'll try it for a while. It has a 12 spd auto shift trany that is as smooth as silk shifting both up and down. I know I'm going to love that. It has a single drive axle for light weight and fuel efficiency with a tag axle behind. It also has the super single tires.

I drove for a company that had a lot of Volvo tractors. Some had the Volvo engines and some had Detroit's. If you only run on flat land it won't make much difference, but in the hills and mountains weighing 80 thousand, the Volvo engine will fall on it's face.

Nice new truck there Jon. Love the decals. So what size Case tractor and disc is on the side of your new truck? Very creative, I like it.
Hope the new truck serves you very well.

Was supposed to be an 830, but looks more like a 530 now. lol. The guy must have spent an hour on it, it started out as a 2390 with cab.

There's a Volvo Truck Plant a few miles down the road from me in Dublin, VA. I wonder if it was made there?
