A Million Dollar Tractor

Been gathering up a few parts for a 470 diesel repair. If ya were going to purchase all the parts to build a new one from CNH (if they were all available) I wonder what the little tractor would cost, I know it would be alot. The little throttle linkage and spring price are shown and I almost ordered new bolts for the con-rods. While pricing parts the lady told me they were 33, I said no 33 cents can't be right, she said they are $33 ea. I can't say what I thought at that moment. Rod. The price on the second part is $87.

Rod;
Does that 188 have the male thread, or female thread on the tach drive in the block? I need to pull the drive out of the 207 in the 580 hoe. I do have a puller that I made to pull the drives on the 30, and 70 series large frame tractors, but this one has the male thread on the tach drive. Guess I get to play on the lathe. Do you have any idea if the gear is the same on the 188 in the 470 as the 207? It is much easier to get parts from the Ag dealer in Brookings than Titan in SF. Thanks DK

DK,This engine tack drive had female threads, my std. puller for the 70 series engine worked fine. If the 580C has the male threads it must be like the 90 series tack drives. I can't say for sure but I bet the gear itself is the same on both. Makes you wonder why they change stuff like that. Rod.
