I'M RESTORING A 1938 RC (CASE) TRACTOR. I PLAN TO INSTALL A STARTER, BATTERY AND RING GEAR. I WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE A STARTER AND RING GEAR , IF YOU HAVE SAME. A 6 VOLT STARTER IS FINE. THE RING GEAR MUST HAVE 101 TEETH, OUTSIDE DIAMETER APPROX 12 3/4" AND THE INSIDE DIAMETER APPROX 12 1/4".

Pioneer inc automotive products powertrain div also autozone and others have a poineere catalog if you can get them to check bought case ring grears for less than one half cade price fellow at powertrain said they made case ringears for case

THANKS FOR THE MANY RESPONSES TO MY RING GEAR PROBLEM. I REMEASURE THE GEAR LAST NIGHT. THE ID IS 11 3/4" NOT 12 1/4". IT IS 12 3/4" OD WITH 101 TEETH. THANKS AGAIN CASE CRAZY!

Ron I checked and I have a WD flywheel with a good ring gear on it.....you get to remove it!

(quoted from post at 14:51:59 01/12/13) WOULD YOU ALSO HAVE AN AC MODEL HD STARTER?
I'm not sure it will fit, but I do have a WD starter that will need to be rebuilt. I think a fellow commented earlier that you would need a Case starter???
