What is the best bang for the buck loader to get for this tractor? looking for something I can switch from bucket to pallet forks.

I have a case 510 on mine and love it it is self leveling, the quick attach bucket is fast an simple to switch to forks, self latching, probably the weak point is the pivot pins at top back you must keep greased.over 10000 hrs.(self leveling well worth the cost anyone"s brand)also love the joy stick.

I am waiting on some new loader prices right now for 5240 2wd. The CIH 510 & 520 were the factory loaders for the maxxums and were made by Great Bend. Only thing I don't like is they're kinda big/bulky and limit your view some. I have my on eye on a couple though. A new Woods LF138 is about $7500, waiting on prices for Quickie, Bush Hog, & Westendorf. ALO owns Quickie/Bush Hog/Great Bend.

Westendorf is a great loader. We have an old wl 42 and a newer wl24. They are both really nice. We also have an older JD 158. I would take the Westendorf over it any day.
The Great Bend loaders used to be very good loaders, and they probably still are. They were made here in Great Bend, Kansas for many years, but there were bought out and moved somewhere down south. I know a lot of people that built them.
