I had not started first grade yet, I was 5 or 6 yrs old when dad had me driving our 1942 or 1943 VAC. It was pretty new & a war time tractor. I was harrowing with it before planting corn. Was pulling a 22 ft. ,4 Kewanee section harrow.clint

What a great child hood you must have had Clint. It may not have seemed so at the time but looking back I bet you wouldn't change a thing. May be if more kids were brought up in that type of environment now a days it would give them something else to think about instead of being in gangs and taking drugs.

Thanks for your comments. My story landed in the wrong place, was supposed to be in the Case site. Oh well, I am not to good with puters!
I agree with you, Frank, about todays youngesters. Most of them are a "mess".
We bought a 1942 VAC last fall that is 99.9% like dads old one. I enjoy having it. Lots of memories when I drive it now. clint
