3.9.5.9 in construction line

what years did they introduce these engines in the Case construction line?

From what I read, the 3.9L came out in the 1845C in 1986. I don't know about the 5.9 engine.

I believe some w14c loaders ran a 5.9 which would probably be around 1986 or so

the 580E was the first to have the 4-390 installed they started in 1983, a few "test" engines were installed in 580D's so that puts that back at least a year for testing, the 680K had the 6-590 starting in 1984 and I am sure they did the same type testing with it also cnt
