Hey Tim ,bean,and case nut. Thanks. Case ,I looked up Augusta,wv ,it's about 50 miles. I will probably at least make a call. Tim , I can pick my way thru small jobs, but it doesn't take much to stump me. The tractor is # 52____D . I'm sure the wiring is not what came out of Racine,,,,haha . The old girl was running great until hurricane Sandy blew and got her wet. I don't have the big tools for heavy mechanics. but I have been working to try to restart her. B.Bean,if your last name is Cowan ,we probably are related back some. To the best of my knowledge ,one family of Cowan's (7 brothers) came into Pa. Around 1800. |

| Mark, does it turn over with the starter? If so, check the fire by puting an extra plug in one of the plugwires and lay it against the block, then spin the engine. Spark should jump the gap on the plug. This will help determine if it's fire or fuel. If it won't turn by starter, then check the terminal ends and go from there. |
